We are recruiting to fill the below job position;
Job Title: Project Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical)

Reporting Line: Capital Projects (CP)
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineer will be chiefly responsible for supervising and monitoring daily Mechanical and Electrical works on the Data Center construction site and reporting work progress including performing quality checks and controls.
Responsibilities will include:
• Supervision of Mechanical and Electrical Works
• Monitoring & reporting daily Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) work activities on site
• Keep track of installations & ensure alignment with approved design drawings
• Ensure quality of work, terminations, piping, cable lugs etc. with great attention to detail
• Ensure quality of materials for conformance with approved specifications and regulations
• Supervising tests of materials including ATP (Acceptance Test Procedures) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)
• Keep custody of printed maintenance drawings
• Ensure quality assurance and control on all M&E installations
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Data Centre PM & Head Capital Projects.

Competencies Required:
• Electrical Engineer (Minimum 4-6 years in Electrical Power Systems) with a track record of site supervision experience.
• Project Experience including supervision of (Mechanical & Electrical) M&E works
• Technical knowledge with an engineering background is preferred, Electromechanical systems installations, troubleshooting and repairs
• Excellent documentation and communication skills with attention to detail
• Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Self-management skills
• Team work
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Visio design software
Demands of the Job: Ability and willingness to work above and beyond expectations and meet tight deadlines as projects demand
Qualification:
• B.Sc. / B.Tech / HND + NYSC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
• Project Management experience and Certification e.g. (PMP, Prince ) is a plus especially related to Mechanical & Electrical installations
• Certification in Quality management will also be an added advantage.
