Essential Responsibilities
Maximize sales orders, margin, market share, customer satisfaction of given modality and business solutions in assigned area with the Modality Commercial Sales Specialist.
• Develop good long term customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction whilst utilizing to optimum level resources in the team and Company/GE businesses.
• Support sales of assigned product range and business solutions to customers within area.
• Organize product demonstrations,road show, sites visits,follow up.
• Prepare and co-ordinate the tender response and validate the tender documentation in collaboration with territory manager and commercial modality sales specialist.
• Communicate market and clinical/ technical information effectively to/from the field including competitor data.
• Communicate effectively with members of clinical/sales/
marketing/service team to maximize all sales potential and communicates leads to relevant colleagues.
•Generates, record and maintain customer profiles, including keeping track of key decision makers.
• Ensures knowledge of and compliance with Company policies and quality processes
Able to discussed clinical subject within customer and address the best sales offering
Work in a team spirit environment; build credibility around solid GEHC values.
Conduct high quality Clinical Education mammo, digital RAD, BMD and Interventional session at customer sites, to ensure customer's safe and effective high level advanced clinical procedure use of GE equipment, maximising image quality and productivity.
* Pro-actively intensify customer prospecting to ensure clinical leadership at customer site.
* Pro-actively escalate customer issues and needs to the relevant level in the organization.
* Provide in-depth presentation and demonstration to the user for specific Products & Services around the WHC women healthcare solution and other DGS modalities.
* Develop content and deliver Classroom courses at the regional Customer Training facility.
* Participate mammo , BMD , women health field and Interventional workshop, assist, demo and presents.
* When requested, provide support for congresses, road shows, exhibitions, and user meetings
* When requested, provide clinical marketing tools and support for the team.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Radiographer degree, or medical radiologist PhD
* Ability to travel and be at customer sites 70 to 80% of the working time (annual average).
* Ability to travel in all African countries.
* Fluent in English
* Practical experience in at least one major Medical Imaging Modality (Xray mammo , BMD, Interventional preferred)
* Teaching skills or teaching experience
* Presentation skills
Desired Characteristics
* Practical experience of Xray mammo BMD and interventional in a clinical environment
* Experience in conducting training in Mammo or other imaging modality (BMD,Interventional vascular, US, MI, MR, CT…)
* Knowledge of GE’s or competitor’s XR BMD Interventional products (not mandatory)
* Previous experience as an Application Specialist in another company
* Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, notions of Linux)
* Other foreign languages
