We are recruiting to fill the below job position;

Job Title: Senior Engineer.NOC Power Vendor Management
Location: Abuja,NG
   
Job Summary       
    Co-ordinate NOC operations with EOT vendors and manage Change Request (CR) executions on RAN nodes, transmission systems and IP backbone nodes   
       
Principal Functions       

•     Track network outages, conduct Route Course Analyses (RCAs) and make recommendations on network quality improvements
•     Ensure escalations are done in a timely manner and relevant team-members duly notified
•     Ensure 24x7 network monitoring and reporting is available for all technologies/ nodes as needed
•     Liaise with the Customer Care and Sales teams to manage network outage escalations
•     Follow up with all the concerned team members/ vendors for tracking and resolution of faults
•     Provide RCA reports on major network outages and resolutions
•     Co-ordinate and manage all the trouble tickets raised in the network
•     Manage service providers/ vendors' contractual SLAs
•     Provide NOC support to the field/ data centre Power teams
•     Escalate, follow up and reconcile co-location power-related incidents
•     Co-ordinate environmental, power and external alarms simulations/ testing during Provisional Acceptance (PAT) and preventive maintenance
•     Generate network power utilization and availability reports
•     Monitor multi-vendor hybrid and green power systems
•     Monitor generator and fuel tracking systems/ devices
•     Manage global/ inter-vendor Work Order/ CRs
•     Manage the OSS tools for network and hybrid power systems
•     Ensure that the organization's network quality policy is complied with on all network O&M activities and identify those areas where the policy needs improvement for necessary escalation and appropriate action

       
Educational Requirements       

•     First degree or equivalent in Electronic & Communications Engineering and/ or any other relevant discipline
•     Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will provide an advantage

       
Experience,Skills & Competencies       

•     At least four (3) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in NOC and NMC operations within a large telecoms or related technical organization
•     Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
•     Solid experience with Huawei, Alcatel, Nokia Siemens RAN/ BSS technologies as well as Emerson, Grintek and Delta power systems within a telecoms managed services environment
•     Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, MapInfo, and Google tools
•     Ability to think and plan proactively
