He/She would be reporting to the CEO, the primary responsibilities of the incumbent will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and operationalizing sound Microfinance loan portfolio management through efficient Credit Risk Analysis
- Reviewing Loan Applications to ensure adherence to bank s Credit Manual prior to approval
- Developing and implementing sound Risk Management Strategies.
- Developing and implementing appropriate strategies for attracting and retaining prime clients that will ensure the long-term sustainability of the MFB.
- Rolling out new products to increase the volume of business that will enhance MFB s REVENUE BASE.
- Development, review and monitoring of budgets and controlling of the branch offices expenditure
- Responsible for preparing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly Board Reports on the credit portfolio and branch offices performance for decision making by Management
- Co-ordination with other departments that provide support to the credit department in the areas of loan processing, payments/ disbursement and the production of reports.
- He/She must posess a bachelors Degree in a business related field
- Over 3 years at similar position
- Working experience in Credit/ Lending in Microfinance Bank
- Competent in ICT/MIS System
- Results Oriented
