Job Description
- Will be responsible for the smooth running of the end-to-end taafoo physical boutique operations and ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Achieve financial objectives of the boutique operations.
- Develop and assist with growth of the boutique operations.
- Ensure resource required for smooth operations are available and optimally allocated.
- Work with marketing to ensure adequate foot traffic in the boutiques.
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.
- Identify fast-moving, slow-moving merchandise.
- Identify fashion trends and recommend to buyers.
- Ensure availability of the right merchandise and services to reduce the dependency of boutique on warehousing and also drive volume sales.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
- Maintain boutique teams by assisting with recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
- Identify current and future customer requirements.
- Assist with pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
- Secure merchandise by recommending and implementing security systems and measures.
- Liaise with other teams to ensure smooth running of the boutique operations.
- Provide a safe and clean boutique environment.
- Design, recommend and implement boutique layout principles to maximize boutique traffic and grow sales volumes.
- Manage and motivate boutique team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Respond to customer complaints and comments.
- Tour the boutique floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues.
- Initiate changes to improve the business.
- Develop solutions to enable customers easily choose & pair items.
- Minimum of 2-3 year working experience in similar role.
- Experience in an apparel retail environment.
- Computer literate - strong Excel and Database Management skills.
- Good planning, organizational & communication skills.
